Our story – How Freyacare came to be
Freyacare did not originate from a trend, but from a personal experience.
It all started with concerns about our child's dental health.
When our then five-year-old son regularly swallowed toothpaste and simultaneously developed brittle teeth with light and yellowish spots, we looked for a suitable solution. We suspected a possible fluoride overdose – a substance contained in almost all conventional toothpastes.
I set out to find a fluoride-free toothpaste that I could give my child without hesitation. But it quickly became clear:
Hardly any product was convincing. Many didn't taste good to children, foamed excessively, or contained a long list of questionable additives – from glycerin and surfactants to synthetic colors and flavorings.
This gave rise to the idea of developing our own toothpaste that is simple, natural, safe and yet effective – even if it is accidentally swallowed.
I started experimenting – with natural minerals, xylitol, vegetable oils and alkaline pH values.
The basic formula was clear: gentle cleansing, natural caries protection, freshness from essential oils – without fluoride, without glycerin, without aggressive chemicals.
After many trials and tests with family and friends, a recipe was created that fulfilled exactly what we were looking for:
A natural toothpaste that tastes good, cleans thoroughly and is suitable for children and adults alike.
To further develop Freyacare, I decided to integrate my long-time graphic designer and friend into the project. Together we founded the company and built everything step by step – from packaging and branding to production.
After about five years of research, adaptation, and countless feedback from our environment, we had the formula professionally manufactured.
In the spring of 2020, the time had come: Freyacare was officially founded.
Today, our toothpaste is produced in Switzerland according to the highest quality standards and is available in pharmacies, drugstores, specialist shops, dental practices and online.
We are particularly pleased by the steadily growing interest from dentists who present our fluoride-free, alkaline formula in their practices, workshops and at trade fairs.
Many of them confirm that more and more patients are asking for natural alternatives – and that Freyacare credibly fills this gap.

Production & Partnership
Our toothpaste is manufactured in Switzerland according to the highest quality standards – with a lot of manual work, care and a sense of responsibility.
For bottling, we work together with our valued partner Lydia Cosmetics AG in Herznach (AG).
Lydia Cosmetics has many years of experience in the production of natural cosmetic products and shares our values regarding quality, purity and sustainability.
There, each tube of Freyacare is filled, checked and prepared for shipping with precision and care – Made in Switzerland, with genuine craftsmanship.
