Bärgmüntschi – Natural lip gloss from the Alps
Bärgmüntschi is a 100% natural lip gloss that cares for and nourishes lips, giving them a soft, natural shine. The name comes from the Frutigen dialect.
“Bärg” means mountain, “Müntschi” means kiss – so a kiss from the mountains.
The rich formula makes lips supple and leaves them looking healthy and well-groomed – beautifully kissable, completely without artificial additives.
The base consists of beeswax and honey from the Bernese Oberland, supplemented by fir resin and the natural coloring of the alkanet root, which gives the lip gloss its warm, subtle hue.
Alpine origin & traditional inspiration
Bärgmüntschi is inspired by traditional Alpine skincare recipes, which we have given a modern interpretation. It is produced exclusively with natural raw materials from the Alps – whenever possible from our immediate surroundings.
Many of the herbs and flowers we use are cultivated in the Kandertal valley in the Bernese Oberland. This near-natural cultivation not only supports the quality of the raw materials, but also creates valuable habitats for wild bees and honeybees.

Manufacturing & Quality
The Bärgmüntschi lip gloss is developed in-house by puralpina and lovingly handcrafted. This meticulous production allows us to control every step and use only select, natural raw materials.
Wherever possible, puralpina sources its ingredients from our local area. The recipe is deliberately kept simple and is based on tried-and-tested alpine ingredients such as beeswax, honey and fir resin, supplemented by other valuable plant substances.
